THE HEADLINE

Brand new, fully remote, job opportunity has opened up for a senior level qualitative researcher to help lead lifestyle/alcohol accounts. High-end research consultancy who provide expertise into culture, futures and innovation for clients has seen an increase in demand from some of their key clients and they now need someone senior to help lead these accounts. Role can be based anywhere in the USA.

THE COMPANY

Global research consultancy who have worked with a large array of global brand names in the consumer space. They are renowned for an innovative approach to their work and ability to deliver high end deliverables to their clients. They work with brands across an array of sectors (lifestyle brands, technology, entertainment, food & drink etc) and due to this diversity they have managed to keep a consistent flow of projects coming in.

THE ROLE

Due to an increase in demand they are looking to hire a brand new role for someone at the Associate Director/Director level to join their qualitative research team. The head office has always been based in NYC but due to the changes that were presented by the pandemic they have moved to remote working and team members are spread out across the country. This particular AD/Director role could be based anywhere in the USA and would be leading projects, managing project teams, liaising directly with the client and mentoring junior team members. You will be responsible for managing projects from end to end, from briefing, conducting fieldwork and delivering final reports and findings. Depending upon your interests, you can even get involved in delivering new IP for the agency or developing areas that might be of interest to you, whether that be a particular industry or research technique.

THE SKILLS

The ideal candidate must have experience of leading qualitative research projects and be hands-on with the fieldwork (focus groups, IDIs, co-creation etc.). It is imperative you have a track record of working with Fortune 500 companies, ideally in the lifestyle brands or alcohol space. Due to the remote working setup, you need to show an adaptability and creativity to adjust to new and innovative working practices. The team do meet up on a monthly to quarterly basis in order to foster a company culture. This is a crucial hire for the business so you will need to show that you can adapt to a collaborative team environment. Furthermore a desire to learn and develop is beneficial as it will help your potential growth and promotion within the agency.
