Founded by Joel Naftal, we are a recruitment consultancy in the truest sense of the word as we take the time to understand both our client and candidate requirements and ensure we provide an honest & transparent approach.

Our expertise lies in the recruitment of any role that involves some aspect of research/insight, no matter how small. These roles can take the form of pure market research (qualitative or quantitative) and analytics through to more strategic roles where it may involve a small amount of insight generation.

The companies we work with, both brands and agencies, range from the largest multi-national through to the most ambitious start-up.

Although based in the UK, our network stretches from Europe through to the USA and Asia Pacific. We have a track record of placing people into roles in places such as New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.

The Grey Area

The Grey Area is not a market aimed at people of a certain age, but a term we’ve devised to highlight the changing skills in the marketing industry. This has been brought on by the abundance of information in this “Big Data” age and the challenge of how best to use it.

The Grey Area is a term used to describe the integration of different skill sets within marketing, in particular the combination of Research & Insight, Analytics and Strategy/Innovation.

Individually they each bring their own strengths but combined they have the ability to provide actionable solutions which are grounded in insight taken from a variety of sources, that show how best to interact with the target audience.

Naftal Consulting was established with the aim of providing a more targeted recruitment service for those that fall under The Grey Area. If you’re a client this means that we can find you employees who are more rounded, with an integrated approach. If you’re a candidate this means we can represent your integrated skills set more accurately and ensure we find businesses that appreciate this rounded approach.
